FL Guide

FOLKS (Friends of Lovers Key) will offer a Shorebird Lecture to Members and Non-members on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Please join us for an interesting presentation on Shorebirds by Adam DiNuovo.

Adam DiNuovo has been the Shorebird Monitoring and Stewardship Program Manager for Audubon Florida since April 2015. He has worked on seabird and shorebird research projects from coast to coast for the past 17 years. Projects have included American Oystercatchers in South Carolina, Piping Plovers in the Gulf of Mexico following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and Atlantic Puffins and Arctic Terns in Maine.

Prior to his arrival in Florida, Adam was the Research Coordinator for the California Least Tern and Western Snowy Plover Program at The San Diego Zoo Global Institute for Conservation Research and the Sanctuary Manager for National Audubon's Project Puffin in Maine.

Refreshments will be provided after the lecture.
