Color of Sound returns to the Lani Kai Jan. 11

January 10, 2018
FL Guide

After a successful two seasons previously, the Color of Sound music duo will return to the Island View restaurant atop the Lani Kai on Thursday, Jan. 11, performing from 5 to 8 p.m.

After that, you can catch the duo every Thursday and Saturday evening at the same time.

The Color of Sound is a local duo performing an eclectic mix of Motown, Rhythm and Blues, Top 40 hits and even a couple of good ol' "crooner" songs. Originally from Brazil, Vagner Severiano has been a musician all his life. He creates all of the tracks for the duo, playing the keyboard and bass during the performance, led by his vocalist Angie Elliott.

"We are happy to be returning to the Island View in the Lani Kai for another season," Severiano said. "We love performing at the Lani Kai, performing two seasons before. It is always a fun time, and the guests really enjoy the music we perform."

The duo's live performance, from 5 to 8 p.m., kicks off during the Island View's happy hour, featuring signature cocktails and dishes with most starting at $5, from 3 to 6 p.m.
